Your result belongs to you.
You can take BrightType as a guest. Creating an account is optional and helps you reach saved tests from other devices.
What is saved
We save nicknames, test progress, answers, and calculated reports so you can pause, return, and compare snapshots over time. If you create an account, we also save your email address, display name, protected password hash, and signed-in sessions. We never store your password in readable form.
Sharing, Circles, and email
Private result and recovery links use long, hard-to-guess codes. BrightType Circles show only the result and detail level each member chooses. Raw answers and email addresses never appear in Circles, shared reports, or comparison pages. Email is used for account recovery or a link you ask us to send.
Your choices
You can download results, remove a test or profile, revoke links, leave a Circle, change Circle sharing, sign out other devices, or delete your account and saved data. Circle members immediately lose access to a result when you stop sharing it.
BrightType is intended for people age 16 and older.
